Side by Side error when installing database server desktop

Hi Guys,

due to an improper (I think) unistall of SQL Express I am not able anymore to install the database server express for Arcgis 10.4.1

My database connections are still there but I can' access them.

My OS is Windows 10 Pro.

Any help?

The details provided are insufficient.

1. What is the error that you observe while installing?

2. You mention that SQL Server Express was uninstalled...then how do you expect to connect to the old databases?

Please provide a detailed description of your issue and with some screenshots if possible.

Hi Asrujit,

thank you for you time.

I am not expecting to connect as it was uninstalled.

I've realized that my sentence wasn't in the right place there.

Here my problem:

Trying to install database server desktop I get this message:

I run the sfc/scannow that didn't find any violation in the system. (found googling the error)

These are the Microsoft component installed on my PC:

Some leftover from SQL are still there, I don't know if uninstalling them I mess up more.

I don't think it has been uninstalled correctly. Try uninstalling the left over components..(the ones starting with "Microsoft SQL Server") and then check.

What do you fear will mess up? Do you have the database backups (if any)?
