SDE log file

hi

The log file tables (SDE_LOGFILES, SDE_LOGFILE_DATA) are not populated in the case of selection (more than 100 records) made using ArcGIS.

I believe that is when SDE log files are populated.

What type of log files is your instance set up to use?

I am using default tables (i think default is shared log files).
The user has suitable privileges as mentioned in the link.
Do i need to configure dbtune parameters related to shared log files for DEFAULT keyword ??

There are some parameters set with keyword LOGFILE_DEFAULTS.
Do i need to set the same parameters for DEFAULTS keyword to populate SDE_LOGFILES, SDE_LOGFILE_DATA tables ??

No. Only the LOGFILE_DEFAULTS keys are used.
