Hi all,

I am trying to install the script SDE Administration Web Page http://arcscripts.esri.com/details.asp?dbid=14093 in my Windows 7 computer and I get the following error message when trying to register sdeadmin.dll

c:\windows\syswow64\regsvr32.exe sdeadmin.dll

Error message:

The module ???sdeadmin.dll??? was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005

Please advise!

the solution

register the dll as an administrator

For doing this, you will need to use a command prompt that is executed as administrator. So, grab your mouse??? and

~ Right-click on the command prompt icon

~ Select [ Run as administrator ]
