    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You should join the attribute tables of the 2 shape files (under the joins and relates in ArcGIS). You just need a shared field so you know how to fit the together. Then create calculate the field by simply copying one field into another as necessary. Then just unjoin the tables and you've done it. I hope that helped.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
