I am not able to create arcsde database in arcgis server standard enterprises 10.0 and sql server 2005
please help

At what point is this failing (i.e. creating the database, creating the repository), and what is the error you are receiving?

Welcome to the Esri Forums! You'll get fewer questions and quicker answers
if each initial post always includes the exact software you're using (to include
service packs of ArcGIS and database software, and the operating system),
the exact command or UI tool you are using, and the exact error message
you've received (as text in the post).

You might not even need to post if you search on the error message, to see if
someone else has already posted a solution.

For software installation issues, you should make sure you're using a supported
configuration, by checking the ArcGIS system requirements page (for example,
SP2 is the minimum service pack for SQL-Server 2005 at 10.0). [Note: These are
generally minimum requirements, and higher patch levels are assumed to work.]

I asked it in esri and they said that its not possible in my current version of arcgis server and arcview...its hard to believe that after spending so much i cant use server capabilities
