Create 150 equally spaced points in a region

Hello,

I can create 150 random points in a region or create an equally spaces grid of points with a pre-determined distance between points.

What I'm struggling to do is create 150 equally spaced points within a pre-defined region.

Any ideas?

Not exactly an installation and configuration issue. And not a simple task.

But some conceptual treatment on GIS SE

Or, I'd look at dividing your polygon into equal areas and then using the centroid of each as location for your new point feature class.

they suggest using the Parcel Editor and divide by area.

You may want to look into the Fishnet Tool with the option Create Label Points checked on.
