Hi,

I did look at that tool briefly but it seemed to only compare the dataset table size, not the actual difference in geometry for the points. I see the tool can do more than I originally though and I will give it another try.

Thank you for your help.

Dear All,

I have 2 sets of points that represent the same data. I would like to check that both sets of data have the same location for the same points i.e. that point one in dataset x is in the same place as point one in dataset y. I know that at least a few points will not be in the same place and would like to know which ones are in the wrong place and by how far.

The datasets have identical UIDs, what is the best way of doing this? The datasets contain 225 points each.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Look at Spatial Join, and Symmetrical Difference -- those two might be what you're after.
