      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi ramonrlp,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Yes, you can edit the file geodatabase (Child - Check out) using ArcGIS for Desktop Basic, but will need at least Standard to synchronize.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- Mandar&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
