Hello,

I am receiving this error message when trying to geocode a table in ArcGIS 9.2:
"There was an error trying to process this table. Item not found in this collection."

I have followed the steps outlined in the geocode tutorial at this ESRI link. All of my files are in a PGDB, I have created a new address locator and have prepped the map document with the correct layers.

I am using 2010 Pluto tax lot data, and TIGER census street data.

I'm not sure where to start trouble-shooting. Is there a particular formatting that I have to do with my Excel table before creating a new address locator?

Any help is much appreciated.

The best way to trouble shooting whether the excel table is valid or not is trying to export it as a dbf. If it failed, try the following steps to modify the excel table and see if that works:
http://support.esri.com/en/knowledgebase/techarticles/detail/30727

Thank you very much. I tried different types of tables and was able to add it as a .csv.
