Hi,

I'm starting to investigate the New ArcGIS tools to administer enterprise geodatabases listed in this help topic.

http://resourcesbeta.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#/What_s_new_for_databases_and_geodatabases/016w00000031000000/

These tools look great for administering the geodatabase. Has anyone tried, or know if these tools will work with an ArcSDE for SQL Server Express geodatabase? Or will this only work with enterprise geodatabases like the help topic implies?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

Thanks for your intrest in this new functionality. The answer is yes, these tools will work on a Geodatabase on SQL Server Express. One thing to keep in mind, some functionality on the Geodatabase Administration Dialog will only be available if you are connected as the geodatabase administrator.

Thanks for the feedback and questions.
-Brent
Esri
