I just upgraded to (ArcGIS 10) SP4 and find that the export to a shape file via ArcCatalog from our ArcSDE (10), is not working. It starts of well, and then crawls to a feature class to feature class window moving at 1% per minute.

I have no problems exporting out of ArcMap (Data-Export). Anyone else have the same issue?
Thanks

There's usually one last back-port of the Final/SP1 fixes to the previous rev's
terminal service pack. That's what SP5 will be.

10.1 will likely be be out before the UC, but 10.1 will have a starring role at the UC.

- V

Do you need to regularly export feature classes out of on ArcSDE Geodatabase to Shape file format? If you do, try using the ArcSDE "sde2shp" administration command. You could create a batch file containing these commands. The sde2shp command is very fast even for very large feature classes.
