Hi, Sarah,

I think you try to use the Building Pyramids tool first before you convert or import the file.

I am possibly missing something very simple, but I am trying to import a .kml/.kmz file into Arcmap 9.3, which I've dowloaded xtools pro to do. This is fine. But once the file is in ArcMap, it appears to ''lose'' its georeferencing. It just appears on a blank screen. The reason I need this file in ArcMap is because I need to add attribute data to the polygons that I have exported from Google Earth. Once that's done, I need to export a random selection of these into Idrisi. I have done all this but am unable to work out how to make it keep its original coordinates (somewhere in Zambia) - whenever I get it into Idrisi it has no idea where in the world it should be, and just has random coordinates... If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, taht would be amazing!
Thanks
Sarah

Similarly, I need to convert a kml file into arc editor 10. I also need the georeferencing to transfer from the kml file. Where do I start?

Brent
