I am experiencing the error above on my ArcSDE Server which is running SQL Server 2005. What could be the problem?

Are you running the supported SQL-Server 2005 build? SP2 and SP3 are certified.

Yes, I am running SQL Server 2005 Enterprise with SP3

You should contact Tech Support to find why the app is failing (this is the other side
of a Network I/O (-10) error, so you'll need to tell them what you were doing when the
gsrvr failed).
