      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Solved by using the procedure below:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1)&amp;nbsp; Select the feature line for editing.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2)&amp;nbsp; Click the Sketch Properties tool icon to pop out the list of the vertices.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3)&amp;nbsp; Delete the vertices of one part and remain the vertices of another part.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4)&amp;nbsp; Click the Continue Feature tool to edit the feature and extend it to another feature's end.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;5)&amp;nbsp; Add new vertices on the extended segment after clicking the Add Vertex tool.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;6)&amp;nbsp; Save the edits.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
