Distributed Geodatabase tool bar and xml workspace grayed out arcmap 9.2

Hello,

I am running a dinosaur version of arcmap 9.2. At one point the Distributing Geodatabase tool bar and xml workspace were working and now they are grayed out. Is there an old patch or fix. I think I only have up to Service pack 3 downloaded.

Just cause I have to ask, why is 9.2 the only client that you can use?

Was the underlying geodatabase upgraded to a newer version?

What is the RDBMS version and what is the enterprise geodatabase version?

Hello George,

I am an archaeologist/historian. I use arcmap to create shapefiles and simple maps. I am self taught. Up to this point my old version has worked excellent. It's not really cost effective for me to upgrade.

I downloaded the Geodatabase Toolset (GDBT) for ArcGIS 9.2 from the Esri site.

Esri Downloads My arcmap is Build 1380.

I don't know that I can answer your last two questions.

Are you using replication for items?

You original question and response do not provide much context on what you are trying to do. Is it is the replication or the XML portion that you need?

What has changed since the last time the tools worked? There must be something.

I will say that it may be very difficult to find a solution since 9.2 has been retired for a long time.
