Export Mosaic Dataset Footprint Polys Via ModelBuilder

I am trying to export mosaic dataset footprint polygons in a modelbuilder model (ArcGIS Desktop 10.1).

When I look at the Footprint polygon Source information in ArcMap, I see the following:

Data Type: File Geodatabase Raster Catalog
Database: F:\MosaicDatasetTesing\FGDB.gdb
Raster Catalog Name: AMD_MosaicDatasetName_CAT
Geometry Type: Polygon

I tried what was suggested in this forum posting, but had no success.

Hi Joe,

You may use the Select Data model builder tool to select either the Footprint or Boundary polygons from the mosaic dataset layer.

The Select Data tool is a model builder only tool available under the Insert > Model Only Tools menu. You would choose Footprint as the child data element after selecting the mosaic layer as input.

I'm pretty sure you already have a workflow to export the footprints from the mosaic dataset within model builder, but this is for others out there searching the forums.
