Assigning IDs from one shape file to another

Good Morning Community!

Looking for some help on trying to assign IDs from one shape file to another automatically.

The client needs to have IDs from a street centerline shape file assigned to drainage polygons that run down the streets.

Manually editing each drainage polygon to assign the ID from the street centerline shape file would be a ton of work.

Is there anyway of auto assigning the IDs from the street centerline shape file to the drainage polygons?

(we use ArcGIS 10.3 Standard license and a geodatabase for this project)

You could explore spatial join.

What do you want to so with the polygons where multiple street centerlines pass?

Totally over looked spatial join! Thanks for the help much appreciated. For the most part Spatial Join got me about 90% of the way there and saved a ton of time on the back end.

See attached.

Red Labels are Spatial Join output.

Black Labels/Lines are the original IDs and center lines.
