    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;There is no Esri ST_GEOMETRY implementation in SQL-Server because Microsoft does not support&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; the ability to create 3rd-party SQL language extensions (aka "blades", "extenders", "cartridges").&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If it were technically feasible, it would likely have been done.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please do not double-post.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- V&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Dear all,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have never found the reason WHY ST_GEOMETRY IS NOT SUPPORTED in Ms SQL Server. All RDBMS can have ST_GEOMETRY except SQL Server. Why ? Anybody knows the reason ? &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
