Hi there,

I've been given a couple of svg files that I need to use in ArcGIS Desktop.

After trawling around the web looking for answers I had no luck. I tried a couple of online converters, which I didn't really want to, but they didn't work for me.

It then occurred to me that I should be using Data Interoperability.

According to Supported formats with the Data Interoperability extension—Help | ArcGIS Desktop I find that svg is only available for writing (export).

I did try to import the svg as a xml but that failed.

Can anybody help with how I can import an svg file into ArcMap?

Cheers,

Don Stazic

(NSW State Emergency Services)
