      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Yes, we will eventually support Oracle 11g R2.&amp;nbsp; However, we never support a product until the vendor has officially released it for general availability.&amp;nbsp; In the case of Oracle 11g R2, the only platform it's available on now is Linux.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Pending Oracle's release plans for other platforms (Sun, AIX, HP, Windows), we hope to be able to fully support Oracle 11g R2 on 9.4 by the time 9.4 is final next year.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We have not yet been able to test 9.4 beta with 11g R2 on Linux.&amp;nbsp; If you have 11g R2 on a Linux box and would like to try it with beta 1, please feel free to do so. We would like to have feedback on your experience with it.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Robert&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
