Address Inspector

I am having a problem with the address inspector with ArcGIS Descktop 10 SP 3. In previous versions the address inspector tool would return a number along with the street name and municipality. Now all I get is the street name and municipality.

I recreated an address locator in a FGDB but nothing seems to fix this tool. Has the functionality changed with the tool?

Again this tool worked properly in ArcGIS 9.3.1 and I believe it did in the early versions of ArcGIS 10.

I'm using the new Dual Range geocoder. Our file structure for our streets has not changed. We have left_from, left_to, right_from, right_to fields in the data. We also have an interval field.

***It appears this might be a bug with SP3 based on another post about reverse geocoding that I recently found.

Did anyone find a fix for the address locator issue? I would hate to have to go back to 9.3 to create an address locator to finish my current project.

We don't have an exact date yet but we are hoping to get it out no later than the first week of 2012.

I am having the same problem, but I am able to use a locator I still had that I created in 9.3.

You are correct. This issue only affects 10.0 locators.

Brad, how will we be notified that the patch is available? I have subscribed to this thread but need to be sure I get it as soon as it is ready, since it affects upcoming client software upgrades, training, etc.

I'm using version 10.0 and my address inspector usually works, but every now and again it won't show numbers. Most of the time I can just rebuild my inspector in ArcCatalog and it will work.
I don't know if this will help.

Has anyone had a problem with the inspector skipping? I have a problem with it skipping intersections or skipping away from where two road segments meet. Sometimes I can turn off layers to avoid snapping, but it doesn't always work.

The 10 geocode engine still plots points on the chord of a true curve instead of along the curve. Any idea when this will be fixed?
