topic quick export interop not bringing attribute data to v8 file in Data Management Questions

I have an oracle database that I connect to pull in layers and I want to export them in a way that Microstation(V8i) can open and have it retain the attribute data along with the geometry. I have recently got the data interoperability tools and when I do quick export it allows me to choose bentley microstation design (v8) as a format to export, but when I open the file created in Microstation its essentially the same as if I were to right click on it in the catalog window and export to CAD.

Is there any way to export feature classes to Microstation and retain the attribute data? In microstation the only data that I can view is lengths of the geometry for the line feature I'm trying to get work.
