    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Table permissions should be set via 'sdetable -o {grant|revoke}'.&amp;nbsp; This didn't work correctly&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;back at 8.01 when 'sderastool -o {grant|revoke}' was created, but it has functioned since&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;at least ArcSDE 8.2.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It's possible that the API no longer supports grants through the raster functions; if it doesn't,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;then I'll disable the option (I'll deprecate it either way).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- V&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>SE_TOOLKIT does not set raster layer permissions in SDE, even though it says it does</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;When I try set the SDE layer permissions on a raster using sderastool, it says it is done, but it does not actually do it.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have tried it on the following systems (and both don�??t work):&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;System 1&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;=======&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Windows7&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;ArcSDE 10.1 SP3 for PostGres &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;SE_TOOLKIT setk93b41_WIN64_100sp3 (Also tried setk93b41_WIN64_931sp2)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;System 2&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;=======&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Win 2003 &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;ArcSDE 10.1 SP3 for SqlServer&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;SE_TOOLKIT setk93b41_WIN64_100sp3 (Also tried setk93b41_WIN64_931sp2)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Here is the command I run and the result I get:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;===============================================&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;C:/Data/AppsRunDir/RBA/scripts/sderastool.exe" -o revoke -l ldr.RSA_DEM20M,raster -U paul -A SELECT,INSERT,UPDATE,DELETE -i port:5151 -s localhost -D gisdb -u ldr -p ***&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;ArcSDE 10.0 Raster Management Tool&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Fri Jan 20 16:05:18 2012&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Access to rasterstore 'ldr.RSA_DEM20M' has been changed&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is there something wrong with my command?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Can anyone help with this please?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Paul&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
