can you not simply edit the file so that the bottom left (I think, or top left) reads 0,0? with a cell size of 1 and 1

Original User: elinmaria

Hi all!

I am working with a modelling software and am now trying to get my input in the correct format.

I started out with a raster (DEM) in Arcmap. Made an ASCII from this (.txt/.asc). This works, and can be read by my other program. BUT I would need the location to be defined using column and row number instead of geographic map coordinates. Does anyone know if there is a way to easily do this?

Very grateful for help 🙂

Cheers,
Maria
