Hi, I am not able to connect for sde.

However, I am able to connect from oracle sqlplus client command line and also from arcgis desktop 10.1.

Also tested that tnsping works fine.

please suggest...

Do you have the Oracle 64-Bit Client installed and being used on the machine where you are executing the sde 10.1 commands.

Yes, both 64-bit and 32-bit clients are installed.

There are 5 more geodatabases on oracle and i am able to work with sde commands from same machine.

I am able to connect from arcgis desktop 10.1 and sql client.

But when i use sde command, i get TNS error.

I am able work with sde commands on the already existing geodatabases.

This problem is on new geodatabase created.
