      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;You may find this thread on the Gis StackExchange forum useful.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/3968/what-is-the-modern-equivalent-to-arcinfo-clean" target="_blank"&gt;What is the modern equivalent to ArcInfo CLEAN?&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I recently discovered the Integrate command myself as referenced also in the link above, and found it useful for cleaning up badly digitized polygons (overlaps, gaps):&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//00170000002s000000" target="_blank"&gt;"Integrate" geoprocessing tool&lt;/A&gt;

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The ability to flatten polygons without having to click on each overlap is necessary.&amp;nbsp; The coverage dataset only allowed overlaps using regions.&amp;nbsp; We need this data structure back, I can't do my work without it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
