when I create a E-mail with a selection of data attached for a customer or partner.
it would be nice to have a menu item or model tool that will: export the selected features to shp and others if possible then compress the resulting file(s) to zip file and then attach the zip to a new email.

for example: (Google) picasa will do this with photos.

I'm having troubles understanding why people are voting this down, I would very much like this feature. It is difficult to exchange GIS files over email and this would help. I often end up zipping when the shapefile doesn't work.
