    <description>&lt;P&gt;It would be helpful to have the option of sharing Layer files as LYR files as well as the LYRX type in ArcGIS Pro.&amp;nbsp; Companies using other non-GIS software utilize this file type frequently.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;While it is ultimately up to those companies to update their software to the new formats, it delays transition from ArcMap for ESRI customers when we need to maintain that format for use in other applications.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
