idea Configurable Relationship Class Data Labeling in Data Management Ideas

It would be nice to be able to configure a feature relationship class to set the displayed labeling of related records to say a particular attribute value of that record that can be configured when the data is diplayed in a table of contents view in ArcDesktop tools like ArcCatalog or ArcMap.

Currently, when the relationship class is created you set a generic display label text for the relationship, forwards and backwards. However this text is not displayed when parsing a table of contents tree in ArcDesktop tools, instead the attribute value that is physically first in the database record (typically OBJECTID) is displayed. Currently, 3rd party feature re-formatting tools (such as X-Tools) will not allow you to adjust the physical ordering of the ESRI attributes (FID, OBJECTID or SHAPE) when reordering attributes of a feature class.

It would be less confusing for users if this label can be configured to a more user friendly attribute value than OBJECTID.
