Both files have to be in Lambert North Projection. However, when I open both shp files ArcMap display
each in different place. Also when I edit any shp file Arc Map displays: Spatial Reference does not match data frame

In ArcCatalog I have been trying to assign the Lambert North Projection but problem persist. I enclose image and shp files. I don’t understand why if both shp files are in same projection they are displayed in different place. How can I fix this?

I include Data Source of both shp files

Shp_05

Data Type:

shp_10 is using CRTM05. It's WKID is 5367. If you don't have that definition in the ArcGIS version you're using, here are the parameters:

CRTM05
WKID: 5367 Authority: EPSG

Projection: Transverse_Mercator
False_Easting: 500000.0
False_Northing: 0.0
Central_Meridian: -84.0
Scale_Factor: 0.9999
Latitude_Of_Origin: 0.0
Linear Unit: Meter (1.0)

Geographic Coordinate System: GCS_CR05
Datum: D_Costa_Rica_2005
  Spheroid: WGS_1984
    Semimajor Axis: 6378137.0
    Semiminor Axis: 6356752.314245179
    Inverse Flattening: 298.257223563

shp_05 is using Ocotepeque_1935_Costa_Rica_Lambert_Norte, so its definition is correct, but you might want to update it to use Ocotepeque 1935 to make transformations easier. Again, depending on which version, there may be an existing transformation, CR05_To_Ocotepeque_1935_MB. If it's not available (the data's GCS must match those defining the transformation):

Molodensky-Badekas method

dx = -213.116

dy = -9.358

dz = 74.946

rx = 2.351419

ry = -0.061467

rz = 6.394209

scale = 5.22

x origin = 617749.7118

y origin = -6250547.7336

z origin = 1102063.6099

Melita
