Could you share a link to your journal?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Technically if you remove the link, save and reload the app and still see the map marker it most likely means that the marker is included in your map layers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Related to this question: Why can't I uncheck the box to "User will see a map marker when a kink is clicked?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried to remove the link and the hyperlink is removed in the Floating panel but the map marker is still left not he map. I'm using Safari.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Greg, thanks for your reply. The marker is not with the map. I ended up deleting the text associated to the original link, remove the web map configured to the text configured on the main panel, change it to something else (picture or URL). Save it and then redo the link again. Very similar to what you suggested.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
