When working in the map viewer, how do I add now symbols to a previously created map note?

Also, when I view the app, my symbol changes were not reflected, nor the text changes in the pop-up.

Hi Sorry you are having trouble with one of the Story Map apps.

To change the symbols of a map note just open the map note feature's pop-up and click Change Symbol. Then you can choose a new symbol or click Use an Image to point to a symbol on the web via URL.

For the second issue, it sounds like the web map may have not been saved or the Contents configuration in the story map was not what you expected. Are you still having this issue? If so can you share a link to the app?

My main issue right now is not seeing the images in my journey. http://arcg.is/1J4WozP

Also now in my Placenames. http://arcg.is/1fpdbWA

A few days ago it was about two thirds of them not showing in the Journey. Now none show. And now none in my tabbed series Place Names. Hmmmm.

They don't show here on two different Macs

Not on my iPad

They do show at home on a PC a couple of days ago.

Just to let you know… we discovered the problem with my images not showing up was due to recent changes in our network system by our own IT people. Fixed now. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.
