Story Map Cascade immersive maps pop-up problem

I've created a Cascade Story Map and inserted an immersive slide. My intent is to have two separate AGOL web maps in that immersive slide, with a fade transition from the first to the second. I've been able to do this, but when I click on a feature in the first map, the pop-ups do not display consistently. It takes several clicks to get the pop-up to pop up. It's odd because the second map pop-ups are fine.

Any thoughts/suggestions? Is this a bug?

Sorry you're having an issue with your Cascade story. Can you post a link to your story so we can check it out? Do the pop-ups work as expected if you open the web map in the arcgis.com map viewer?

Thanks for responding so quickly, Owen. I can't post a link since the content hasn't been approved by my organization for public sharing. I can tell you that the pop-ups work fine in the individual web maps, and they work fine if the web maps are brought in as individual immersive slides. It's just when they are brought into the same immersive slide that this appears to be a problem.

The web maps are nothing special. One has three layers of points created from CSVs--the layers have 10, 33, and 280 points. The second map in the immersive slide has 12 layers, each with just one point.

I agree that those web maps don't sound out of the ordinary. I just tried to reproduce your issue with a few different sets of web maps but wasn't able to.

Since my ability to troubleshoot is limited since you are unable to share the maps at this point I would suggest that you please contact Esri Support for additional assistance with this issue.
