All,
Map Tour builder hangs when I "look Up" either my email address or Picassa ID. Therefore I can't upload images. Anyone have a similar experience and a solution?

Yikes! I didn't have the folder set to public - my bad - However, can you help me out with my other question - see below:

On another note: Can I embed an app template e.g. basic viewer or map tour into my web page the way I can a regular AGOL map - by copying and pasting the html code? If so, where can I access the html for the app?

Hi,

Your ID is valid but you don't have any public album.
A clear message should be displayed instead of failing like this. This will be fixed in a future release.

You can embed Map Tour through an Iframe, I updated the FAQ with an iframe code sample.
