Uncheck load over a secure connection?

Has a solution been created for this? I cannot view an intranet site I loaded on my map. Story map series. It does not work through ArcGIS Online nor on a server. I haven't seen any other solutions on this topic in these forums, more just discussion.

Hi Brandon -- If you are accessing your story map over https then web browsers restrict you from accessing any embedded content via an http connection due to web security standards.

Try changing the URL to https when you add it to your story map to see if that makes it work. If it doesn't work either your intranet site doesn't support https or it restricts embedding. There is nothing the story map app can do to get around these web security restrictions (for good reason).

If you find this is the situation for your intranet site, I would recommend taking a screenshot of the intranet site to include in your story (if it is a nice looking website) and/or providing a link to it in the narrative of your story.

This is a screencatch of the intranet site. I used the fully qualified domain name as the link.

When I used https instead of http, I got the same result. Sorry for the trouble.

Now I am running into another problem. I have made my intranet site https instead of http and can only view the site with it being not secure because of ssl issues.

Brandon -- sounds like until you get the SSL issues resolved you should simply put a link to your site in your story map so that readers can open it in a new browser tab.
