Story Maps: Special home page?

I am wondering if the code is available to implement the special home page, as seen in the "Flight of the Golden Eagle" Story Map (http://storymaps.esri.com/stories/2015/golden-eagle/). If features a sole photo with some text that acts as a sort of "curtain" for the rest of the Story Map. Would love to be able to do it!

Hi Meghan,

The source code for golden eagle is here. The "curtain" effect is really a very small part of the code. If I were you, I'd just study the page layout (html and css). And then check out a function called retractSplash(), which is very short.
