Hi Owen, my mistake - I think I got things mixed up, what I mean to say is I am building a story map series (Tabbed layout), I have polygons in there, which I switch between in sequence (areas of interest in my story map). Can I also add point layer which could then be zoomed into? So far I only have polygon layers and I'm not sure if this was possibly (rookie!)

Hi Guys, I am new to story map creating, I am currently trying to make a story map tour, but I didn't want to the polygon layer pop up to appear as soon as the story map is loaded, I wanted it to appear only when clicked on, is this easy to adjust?

Thank you!

Sorry you are having an issue.

A Map Tour typically only has one layer, which is a point layer of the tour points, so I'm not sure which polygon layer you are referring to. Are you able to provide a bit more information and/or share your map tour publicly and post a link here so I can take a look?

Owen

This is called the Visibility Range and it can be set on any layer in your web map.

Can you describe a little more the experience you are trying to create and maybe I can help find another way to help.

Owen

Ah, ok -- sounds like you might want to build a Map Tour with your images and a point layer and then embed that in one of the tabs of your Map Series app (using the "web page" option).

Here's some more info on that process:

Embedding a Story Map within a Story Map | ArcGIS Blog

Let me know if this helps,
Owen
