Hello everyone,

I try to export data to excel but it shows "Error 221". I am hoping someone in this community could provide me with some answers.

To aid in finding a solution can you provide some more context:

Which GIS software are you using when this occurs? ArcGIS Desktop? ArcGIS Pro? Something else?
Which process is being employed to export to Excel? Table to Excel (Conversion) Geoprocessing Tool? Direct export? Third-party tool (like XTools)? Other?
What format is the source data in that is being exported? Geodatabase? Shapefile? Coverage? Excel Table? .dbf? Another format?
Before export, was the data Joined to another data layer?
Does the error message come up in the software that it is being exported out of or in Excel?
Is there any other information with the error message besides "Error 221"? For example, is it presented as an error box and if so, does it have a title?
Does any data actually get exported? If so, how does what did get exported compare to the original?

The first thing to check is that your date and time are set correctly.

If that's set properly and you're still having trouble, the easiest way to fix it is to change an Internet Explorer setting (Ninite uses the same settings).

Since Ninite runs as Administrator, you may need to log in as Administrator and change these settings for that account.

Open Internet Explorer.
In the Tools menu select Internet Options.
Pick the Advanced tab and then scroll down to the Security section as pictured below.
Then turn off or uncheck Check for server certificate revocation, highlighted below.
Click OK at the bottom of the window.
