If geometry is empty, populate text field using attribute rule

There isn't a way to visually determine if the feature is A or B from within the attribute table.

Question:

Using a calculation attribute rule, is there a way to automatically populate a text field with "geometry is empty", if the geometry is empty? (B)

I would also be interested in preventing B in the first place using a validation attribute rule.
