We have a bunch of desktop and laptop users that use ArcReader to access our GIS. Which means that updating each individual laptop and desktop will most likely occur at different times. If I was to upgrade our versions server,desktop,etc. But do not upgrade any of the databases to 10.6 leave them at 10.5.1 or just "save a copy" mxd as 10.5.1 then this will allow users that have not been updated still read the data.
