I have been able to create the map as a layer, add the layers I want to edit and check it out for use in the portable unit. We can start the map up on the Trimble, but when we try to use it (center on GPS location, collect a point, etc.) Arcpad crashes to desktop (if that's the appropriate term) and gives the "serious error, do you wish to report it" error message. When I run Arcpad 8.0 on my desktop with this project, this does not occur.
