Is the extension turned on? It's the ArPad Street Map extension I believe. It's coded as SDCR. You may not have installed it (under Street Map installation)

Link to ArcPad blog article: http://arcpadteam.blogspot.com/2008/08/arcgis-93-arctoolbox-create-mobile.html

Hey Guys

I have a client that has send me SDC files to use on his Geo with Arcpad 8 SP3. When using Arcpad on the desktop, you can add this layer no problem, it displays and interacts fine. When you try and do the same thing on the handheld in Arcpad.... its like the layer doesn't even exist at all ...its not even there in the directory. Has anyone else come across this before. I haven't had much exposure to these smart files so any input would be appreciated.

PS I have tested this on a 2008 Geo, Nomad and Juno as well with the same result...only works on the desktop

thanks to all
