This field season I used ArcPad 10, in past I used ArcPad 8. I've had an annoying problem with ArcPad 10 regarding the GPS cursor location. After I collect a point and return to the screen showing my location, the refreshed screen zooms out much further than I want and shows my location in the NW quadrant of the map. I work with topographic bases as base layer and when it zooms out they are hard to read so I end up having to zoom back in several times and then centering on the GPS.
