The tree inventory application I was using no longer collects the GPS data. I end up with blank X, Y and ID (combination of X&amp;Y) columns. I've tried changing to collecting information at the GPS location and where the user clicks--neither makes a difference. I can add the X-Y data to the points collected in ArcGIS, but I'd rather not add the extra step.</SPAN><BR /><BR /><SPAN>The GPS data shows up correctly on the status bar at the bottom of the screen and on the GPS position window. I&nbsp; can collect GPS data in a Track Log. I downloaded an ArcScript that adds XYZ data to a shapefile. That also works as it should and collects the XY data. I just haven't been able to find what I've done wrong. </SPAN><BR /><BR /><SPAN>The attached arcpad.zip file has the original ArcPad.vbs that worked with version 7 and the modified version arcpad(tree survey).vbs I've been using. The big difference is a modified toolbar which didn't seem to work anymore, but I found I no longer require. </SPAN><BR /><BR /><SPAN>I'm fairly new at this, but would appreciate any help.
