    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I need to draw a graphic shape in ArcPad that persists as the map moves around.&amp;nbsp; Normally, graphic shapes are erased when the map redraws.&amp;nbsp; I did this in ArcPad 8 by drawing the graphic in the onafterdraw event.&amp;nbsp; It worked just fine.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In ArcPad 10, drawing a graphic shape in the onafterdraw event apparently causes the onafterdraw event to fire again.&amp;nbsp; Result: infinite loop.&amp;nbsp; Is there a proper way to have graphics stick around as the map redraws in ArcPad 10?&amp;nbsp; I have not found one, and we are back to ArcPad 8 until we find a way.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Tim&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
