topic New to GPS and Arcpad 8 in ArcPad Questions

I am having a problem with my point shapefile that I created with GPS in arcpad lining up correctly in arcmap. It is about 300 feet off. I believe this is a projection issue. I am pretty new to using a GPS device, but have no idea how to correct this.

Any help would be appreciated.
