1320 Error on Arcpad 10.2 Installation (Windows 8)

Hello, I try to install Arcpad 10.2.2 on Durabook tablets with windows 8.1 Pro on it. During the installation process I got the message "Error 1320. The specified path is too long. C:\Programdata\Documents\Arcpad".

I have no choice but to cancel the installation.

can you please provide me support for this little problem ?

Je cherche à installer Arcpad 10.2.2 sur des tablettes Durabook équipées de Windows 8.1 Pro. Lors de l'installation celle-ci échoue a cause de l'erreur 1320 "The specified path is too long. C:\programdata\Documents\Arcpad".

I am not sure if this issue has been resolved but I am including a workflow. We have had some success within Support Services for our customers. Gracias!

- Suggested to rename the "Documents folder" within directly in the c:\drive, to "Old-Documents. Then ArcPad was re-installed and placed all the needed items within the correct location.
