topic ArcPad10 does't find or recognize Raster files in ArcPad Questions

I've created some raster files, dragged them onto my mobile device (Trimble Juno5 w/ ArcPad 10). I can see the files on my mobile device in the File Explorer. So I know they are there.

But in ArcPad 10, when I go to "add layers", ArcPad doesn't see the rasters and doesn't see the folders they are in. I've tried w/ geotiff, MrSid, Jpg, img files, with same result. ArcPad doesn't show the raster files and folders even exist when I click Add Data and drill though the file folders.

Any help please? This is a brand new Trimble Device. I can load shapefiles onto it just fine.

Thank you kindly.

Sounds like you may not have the right extensions enabled. In the "Advanced Options" window, tab over to "Extensions" and check the boxes next to the ones you want. I tested this by turning off the JPEG and JPEG2000 extensions, and then searching for raster layers with those formats. They don't show up, though.

Hope this helps.
