    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Utm coordinates are already in meters.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; As long as the distance is not too great (hundreds of km), you can use the pythagorean theorem.&amp;nbsp; For more accuracy the military analyst extension has some objects do calculate geodesic distances.&amp;nbsp; Unless you are dealing with great distances (not really suitable for UTM) or very high accuracy data you probably don't need the gedesic distance.)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
