Greetings,

I wonder if there is a way to do the following:

I have created a template in ArcMap 9.3

Then I added an object to it and I chose "Create from File" option

Then I browsed to an excel 2007 file that contains my data as a table and added it to the template

Now when I update the data on that excel file, the data on the table of the template is not updated directly

And to update it, I should double click that table to open the linked excel and then close that excel, and then the table on the template is updated

Is there any way to do that using Vb.net code because I can update the content of that excel file but the problem is how to reflect this update directly on that template object (table).

I have tried to refresh the active view but still the template object (table) is not reading the updates from the excel file.

Please advise becuase it is very urgent..

Help me~!
